Norma Feriz-Gordon is a bilingual state-certified professional school counselor and aspiring district leader. Norma is a proud member of the College and Career Planning Team in the Office of Student Pathways within New York City Public Schools’ central office.

Norma has worked across hundreds of schools to improve school culture, address matriculation milestones, reduce summer melt, and establish partnerships that support students and families in the postsecondary planning process. Norma has guided thousands of students and families in their postsecondary planning journey and helped students access millions of dollars in scholarships.

Norma is also an adjunct instructor at New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development in the applied psychology department, teaching courses for the school counselor master’s program.

Norma is a paid member of the Red Ventures Education Integrity Network.
